Reliable Shipping Ltd attended the Bifa Freight Service Awards on January 20th 2022 in London, with the goal of pushing the company name ever further within the logistics sector. These awards promote and recognise high standards and professionalism within a company and serve as the pinnacle of outstanding achievements across the logistics industry.

Past finalists and winners have been very proud of their certificates and trophies, as well as benefiting from increased company recognition through extensive trade press coverage and prominent visibility at the awards event.

Reliable Shipping were thrilled to announce that we were nominated for the BIFA Staff Development Award at this year’s ceremony. The judges in this category were interested in learning how we motivate and encourage all employees to “be their best” and contribute to the success and direction of our organisation. We were later named as a finalist in this category by BIFA which gave us recognition for our efforts as a company.

Rugby Legend Matt Dawson, who we had the pleasure of meeting, presented us with our finalist prize. Throughout the day he presented the various awards and in the evening he provided us with a few laughs and insights into himself with stories of his career and a particularly hilarious story regarding the late great Jonah Lomu. It was a terrific event full of laughs, food, and the opportunity to mix with other great companies from within the industry.

Sadly, we didn’t win on this occasion but we are looking forward to returning to this event, especially after two years of restrictions, and hopefully bringing home a winning trophy next time.
